Welcome to the Reunion 2008 Page

     Have you ever seen the Insurance commercial that says: Life comes at you fast.....  Well that has been my life since the reunion. So I'm a little late with my reunion update. Well here we go... This years reunion like always, was great. Good people, good fun, and good times.

      Some people arrived early while most came in on Friday. On Friday the usual occurrences took place: Rusty met up with his women... and they proceeded to attempt to throw water on him, which backfired due to Rusty's new super soaker gun......

     ....And lastly everyone mingled and said their hello's, and later that night gathered around the camp fire for good conversation and some roasted corn. However, mysteriously throughout the weekend some peoples corn seemed to disappear while it was roasting. They would pick it up out of the fire and it would already be eaten. Hmm....Weird.

    Saturday began as usual with the smell of bacon, ham, and eggs in the air. After breakfast we all went out and enjoyed the many things that can be done at the campground. Some went swimming, some went out and saw the local sites, and others just mingled and relaxed around the campground. Later that afternoon, came everyone's favorite time of the weekend.....The big dinner and our annual auction. We even had a visit from Yogi.

As you can see below we had a lot of good items for sale:

We chose a winner for the wonderful family quilt and passed on the Spirit Stick....

And the kids took their best shot at a pinata.

After all the fun we retreated to the campfire for more fun and disappearing corn. 

        Sunday morning as always was a sad day. Sad because we knew the wonderful weekend was over. Sad because we had to say our goodbyes, and sad because we knew it would be another whole year before we would do it again. So we said our goodbye's and loaded up and drove home :(

If you missed this years reunion, you missed a lot of fun. It was so fun we even had another Arrington family trying to get in on the fun.
